How We are Different
Regional Excess Underwriters does not
take risk as do most WR Berkley companies. Instead, we are a broker that
serves the independent agents of WR Berkley. We place business both a general
agent (GA), and as a broker. Furthermore, we place business with insurance
carriers both outside and inside WR Berkley group.
Whether it be a soft market or a hard market we will respond in a timely
and courteous manner at all times. All submissions are sent out promptly
and a knowledgeable staff is always available to help our agents with whatever
they need.
Excellent service and staff mean a superior experience when dealing with Regional Excess Underwriters.
Distribution
Regional Excess Underwriters is licensed in all 50 states and has Surplus Lines licenses in most states. Our business is distributed through the retail agents of WR Berkley.
